I am experincing a problem with my newely purchased Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge, which is not giving preview out in PAL and in NTSC it is working I had tried two different maks of OHCI cards, anyone faced it before ?
Hmmmm...
Sorry to say that, in my opinion, DV-Bridge is not up to the job.
I have one that sits on top of my monitor just to remind me to better research products before I buy them.
Off-load it and search the forum for converters.
I bought a Sony DHR1000 VCR and am now delighted
Evidently, any DVCAM with analog-i/o does the job excellently too.
Hope this helps!
I too have suffered at the hands of the Dazzle Hollywood Bridge. After a long and tedious go round with their tech support, I ended up having the unit replaced by them. My unit was completely 'jacked-up'. The new one seems to work fine, but I am only using it as a bridge for the 'preview on external monitor' function. I use my GL-1 for A/D conversion.
BTW if you call their tech support, be ready for quite the time. I was on hold for a long time, and once I got through, the tech support basically made me install their video-editing software to prove that the unit didn't work. They don't know a thing about Vegas. To make things worse, the jargon for their software is completely different, so when you tell them that you 'rendered' a video, they will have no idea what you're talking about.
