Anyone got Vegas Video 2.0d to work on the Windows XP beta?

I've been running the Windows 'Whistler' XP beta for about a week now, but can't seem to get Vegas Video 2.0d installed. It tells me that I need Direct X 8, even though I've already installed it. Apart from this, the XP beta runs very well. No problems at all really... well, except that it won't let me install the older Media Player 6.4. I might just get a 3rd party player instead of that.

We are testing Windows XP internally and before XP is released we will post an update (if needed). Currently we are seeing no problems-

Maybe it's a later beta version. Mine's build 2462. It's really annoying. I've tried installing it and Direct X in compatibility mode, but that won't work either. Oh well, a nice new OS, but my most used software (apart from email etc) won't run. Guess I better just wait.
