Anyone tried the new P4 Extreme yet?

Just wondering if anyone tried one of these new processors to see if the
L3- 2meg cache makes a difference in rendering speed with the newer
motherboards that can handle them.

Take a look at Tom's Hardware Guide. One of their benchmark uses the Main concept to do MPEG2 encoding. You can see how much (or how little) improvement you can expect from the latest super-dooper toaster-oven.
