Anyone use Digital Juice Swipes in Vegas?

I bought a few volumes of DJ Swipes at their special sale price recently.
I've spent a few hours now trying to figure out how to use them in Vegas. I render them (in DJ's "Juicer") as MOV files with straight transparency. (also tried AVI format, with same results I'm about to describe.)
Then I put the rendered Swipe above two abutted video clips in the Vegas timeline.
According to DJ's really brief "Help" for using Swipes, that's all it should take... but the result looks just awful. The swipe is almost transparent... instead of making a true "swipe", it just looks like a pale ghost sweeping across the underlying images.
I've tried all the Compositing Modes in Vegas... some results look worse than others, but none look good.
Has anyone used these successfully, and derived some methodology that actually works?

Managed to find my answer at the Digital Juice forum for Vegas users... turns out that Vegas doesn't pick up the Alpha Channel setting of the rendered DJ clip. You have to go into the clip's "properties" in Vegas and manually change its Alpha setting from "none" to "straight". Then it works jes' fine...

You should have seen it when the Juicer software refused to render the swipes audio as embedded audio.

Turned out to be a Juicer bug that they fixed.

I spent a long time on that issue.
