In all the threads on loudness metering I haven't seen any mention on the forum of the free Orban Loudness Meter. I just started using it this week and like its capabilities. I was wondering if there were any thoughts about it, especially from musicvid10, who suggested the Toneboosters plugin I've been using. Any issues to be aware of when monitoring post-Vegas, instead of with a plugin? So far the Orban metering comes up with identical LKFS results as Toneboosters used in the Vegas environment.
The Orban meter isn't a plugin, it's a stand alone program that monitors selected sound card inputs, which allows it to monitor from anything coming into your system, or from media played on your computer from various players. Also can save logs of monitoring results.
