Hi

Could you please provide the app for my Sony Handycam DCR-HC30E PAL, so I can see my videos from the camera tap in my laptop, as I'm not able to find the software or the app in Sony side

Thanks,

Emil

You have already posted the same question earlier this month at this post:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/i-m-looking-for-app-for-sony-handycam-dcr-hc30e-pal-to-my-laptop--137047/#ca857057

I repeat below the comment that I wrote on that post:

Given that your MiniDV camera is around 18 years old and requires a firewire connection to connect to a computer, is your laptop also from the early-2000s era and does it have a firewire connection? Or are you looking for an 'app' to enable the transfer of video/audio from the camera to the computer? If so, it is really a Firewire card that you need for your computer to enable the transfer of video/audio recordings. Or by 'app' do you mean an NLE (editing software) recommendation? If the latter, then the forum would need to know the major specifications of your computer because modern NLEs are unlikely to function on a computer from the early 2000s.

You've given so little information about your situation that it is only guesswork as to what you mean by 'app and exactly what you are wanting to find out.

The ball is your court to provide some detailed information.
