Apparently, I'm an idiot. RE: Metronome

I'm running Vegas 11, and for the life of me can't figure out how to get the Metronome working. I've got the Preview fader up and the Metronome is checked. I have the Preview buss routed to the correct outputs on my sound card.

This worked in 10...but there must be a secret to getting to work in 11.

Here I just tested Metronome with V11 Build520(32b) and Build521(64b) and it is working as expected - btw there's no metering display within Vegas, it is just superimposed on the outputs with it's level & destination set by Preview Fader in Mixer.

Only things I can think that prevent it working as expected are
- if you elected to use custom sound in Audio Preferences, and perhaps that file is silent or very quiet, or corrupted .....
- check 'Project Properties' Ruler Tab: a weird BPM setting there (e.g. 1 BPM) can cause grief.

What a shame the little coloured Metronome icon in Options Menu has disappeared in V11. Now we have to read the words.

I can only think the 'metro sounds reassigned to silence samples' scenario, or Preview fader muted.

Easy to put a Metro button on customised toolbar.

UPDATE: I reinstalled VP11, no luck. I checked everthing I could think to check. Nothing.

Then it just started working.

Crazy. I have no idea what I was doing wrong.

Thanks for your help.
