Applying slow/fast motion across multiple events

Hi all

I'm having trouble figuring out how to apply the fast motion (ctrl + drag) across multiple events.. I've tried ripple but that doesn't do it, unless I'm doing it wrong. And selection all events I want doesn't do it either. It's easy to do with one event but it wouldn't be very efficient to have to do each individual event... there must be a better way. It's fro Vegas Movie Studion 11. Thanks in adavance

One trick from my book is to apply it to one event. Then right-click on that event and select Copy.

Then select the other events, right-click and select Paste Attributes.

Any effects and settings applied to the first clip will be applied the rest!

Thanks Steve...

I'll give it a try and let you know how it works out for me

Another (though probably not the most convenient) way to do it is to Group all the events into one. They can then be time stretched in unison.

That should do it. Steve's method worked but it didn't change the event time.. it changed the speed but since the event didn't change in time with the timeline it cut off some of the event when playing. Your method may work in that it will actually stretch them all rather than apply the rate.

thanks

Change "rather than" to "as well as".
