Architect Will Not Open

After the last update to windows Architect would not open. I uninstalled cleaned the regedit as instructed,reinstalled and still it will not open. It opened to register but In cannot open it now. Thanks.

What I have discovered is I have to run Architect as Administrator for it to open. This hinders Studio 12 from sending directly to Architect. Can I do something about this?

Can you do a system restore back to before the Windows update? If you can, if DVDA now opens and if you like taking risks, try updating Windows again and see if DVDA work this time.

Thanks, I thought about that but I really dont like the restore process. Seems like whenever I try that it messes up more than it helps. I think I solved it. Movie Studio 12 Platinum was not affected by the updates while Studio 10 and Architect were. After reinstalling Architect I tried to right click and run as Administrator and it would open with a dialog box asking if I wanted the program to make changes to computer so I allowed it to and the program opened with no trouble. It has something to do with Administrator rights. Anyhow I went to the programs folder found Architect opened up the properties and allowed all users Administrators rights for that program and it works now. Thanks.
