I have VideoFactory 2.0c. I'm tempted to upgrade to Vegas Video 3.0 for the MainConcept MPEG2 encoder and because events are keyframeable--but I have a question about that....
My edits are pretty simple. I'm in the middle of working on a photo montage that will be authored to DVD. I'll add 100+ pictures to the timeline, and use pan/crop events to add motion to the stills. In VideoFactory, I'm stuck with only start and end points. If I zoom in and pan the image, both happen simultaneously, and take a direct route to the end point. Let's say I want a picture displayed for 10 seconds. Since Vegas Video features keyframeable events, can I insert a keyframe after 5 seconds allowing the pan to change directions or paths at that keyframe? Or perhaps zoom in until the 5 second mark, then zoom back out?
