If your drive is fully MMC compatible it can be set up
manually. The procedure there is very clear.

But how do I know if the drive is MMC compatible? My dealer
don't know. I'm in progress to buy a new modern drive with
Burnproof but I don't know how to get the information to
sort out the drives that are working. Waitec Raptor Red, as
an example, anyone who knows if it's working?

Generally the best way to know for certain if the drive is
MMC compatible would be to contact the manufacturer of the
drive. They should have all of the specifications for your
drive.

I CAN tell you the plextor ide drives work well. You set them up as a generic mmc drive and it works well. My new 16X burner even works. the only issue is it doesn't seem to report the progress bar correctly. On write out, it will say there's still 1.5 minutes left, and the CD will pop open in 20 or so seconds and then CDA will say done.

I've also used the 12X and 8X burners with CDA with no issues.
