I am having trouble find information on adding an arrow to Movie Studio 14.0 Platinum. Can anyone share on how to add this to a video?

The easiest way is to create the arrow in a program like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements and save the file as a transparent PNG file, which you load into your Vegas movie.

If that's not available, you can dig through your Wingding and Webding fonts and see if you can an arrow there.
