Well, sometimes when using instinct like this, there are so many questions and feeling about what I thought about it, but after reading this article, yeah, It's all about feeling...
Still, the main editing purpose, the editorial decisions, take and scene selections, time arrangement, is still a challenge to me. (or 'is it always a challenge?')

Any thought on this article?

what i really liked back in the old vtr days was preroll. i regularly set machines for 10+sec when editing material where 'emotional' continuity was important.

of course, when doing corporate work i would have preferred no preroll at all ;-) then again, every 10 secs wasted in preroll added to the bill ;-) ;-)
