Artifacts on some PSD files

Hi all,

I have a project that includes several PSD files with graphics on a transparent BG. When sliding them in, a few (not all) have a ;pink line where the "edge" would be, popping in every three frames during a slide transition. Even if I mask around the graphic, the pink line still shows up.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Try changing the Alpha Channel setting on the event to one of the Pre-Multiplied settings and see if that fixes it.

Unless you are using the layers in Vegas, you might try exporting your image as a png file.

I'll try that, John. Thanks.

I did find that changing the transition to "push" instead of "slide" fixed it as well. Weird.

Nice idea on the PNG as well.
