ASIO for Vegas?

I'm planning to use some Tascam T-Dif i/o cards for mulitrack interfacing on my PC.
They have ASIO support.
Question is how many channels will Vegas let me interface at a time.

No ASIO in vegas
Is your TDIF card a soundscape mixtreme?
If it is then your in luck asthey have WDM drivers, and you can use all of the mixtreme I/O at once in vegas

I highly doubt that you'll ever see either Sonic Foundry or Cakewalk adopt ASIO since they are both trying to push for WDM instead. Rumor has it that future versions of Vegas will support WDM, so hopefully it will be able to do such things as software input monitoring with effects and such.
