This is new for me. I want to assign a different FX chain to the entire left audio channel and the entire right audio channel of my project and I am not sure how to do it. Not clear in the manual. Project is finished otherwise.
Nothing springs to mind that would be any quicker or easier than the method above. I was assuming that you were starting with a stereo audio track and wanted to keep the original stereo panning with different fx L and R.
If you mean you want to use the L & R tracks both panned center, then duplicate the track, on the first track right click on the audio event and choose the Left channel only, on the second track choose the right channel only. Then apply different FX chains to each audio track. If you have mulitple audio events on the track, you can select all of them and choose Left or Right channel in one hit.
IF you meant to the audio of the entire project, say if you have 10 audio tracks on the timeline and want to change the final L + R mix, it is possible to do using extra busses, but honestly I'm too tired to detail it right now! (not hard, just that I have to get up for work in 4 hours). The quickest method in this case would be to render the entire audio as a new stereo file, import it back into the original project and use one of the two methods already described. (muting all of the original audio tracks or course)
