How can I get the markers in the file (aka region view) without having to rerender the entire file? It seems to be the associate files that the markers are defined in, is there some way to create this sfk (or whatever) file?

.sfl file, i think you mean.

You could render a stereo DVD .ac3 file. This is quite fast, usually better than 10x realtime. That's how i add markers to a DVDA project if i forgot to include them in the MPEG file. I'm not sure if Vegas will do anything with it though.

YES!!!! One additional step though. I used a hex editor to rename the ac3 INSIDE the sfl file to avi.
