ASUS P4C800 Deluxe motherboard and Windows XP

I just upgraded my PC to a 3.0GHz Pentium 4
on a ASUS P4C800 Deluxe motherboard
1 GB memory
and Windows XP
This motherboard has the Promise SATA378 IDE controller on it
with my boot hard drive being a SATA hard drive attached to
this controller.

I just installed DVD Architect 1.0d and I get a blue screen
(STOP 0x000000D1) whenever I open DVD Architect (then the PC re-boots).
It is related to the ulsata.sys driver used by this controller.
If I uninstall the SATA IDE controller from Device Manager,
and reboot, DVD Architect opens fine.

Obliously, I want the SATA IDE controller installed.

Has anybody else had this issue ??

Thanks

Just in case anybody ends up with issue, I resolved the problem by:
1) Do not attach any drives to the Promise SATA RAID controller,
use on the Intel SATA connectors if you have SATA drive.
2) Go into the BIOS and disable the OnBoard Promise RAID controller

DVD Architect starts fine now...
