I use the AT4050 and this is a very good microphone. EQ magazine just did a comparitive review of condenser microphones for voice over applications. I think it was 1 month or 2 months ago, in one of their issues. You might want to see if you can dig up a copy of that from somewhere, you might get some useful information from that to help you make a choice. I believe the AT3035 was in that review. The AT4050 is probably one of my favorites for doing vocal work for music. I find it is very sensitive and transparent. I choose it over my AKG414 for this application. When doing voice over type of work, I choose the AKG414 over the 4050, because the 4050 adds something on the highend, which I don't prefer for voice over work, but I do prefer for vocal work. So what is your application for the AT3035?

Mostly for recording vocals and doing voiceovers. I don't have "pro ears" yet so It's hard for me to tell if a mic is good or not. However reading the reviews I saw the AT3035 was praised a lot, and it's pretty cheap.

I talked with the folks at the AT booth in LA at the AES. The guy told me that I shouldn't overlook the 3035 even though it's affordable.
I have a AT4033. It's an amazing vocal mic and I would highly recommend it. It won't cost too much more than the 3035 and is truly a new classic mic.
