ATI CCC settings

Hey, to other ATI card owners, especially later cards (I have an x1950xt), I'm just curious about some settings. I tried google, but not getting much from there.

Since I haven't changed any of these, these must be the default values. Just curious if you have any different values or if you know what these do.

"use automatic deinterlacing" is ON
"pulldown selection" is OFF
"enable LCD Overdrive" is ON

"use automatic deinterlacing" is ONI have a few ATI Cards. The only setting I don't remember seeing is the "enable LCD Overdrive", maybe I missed it. On mine the de-interlacing setting for automatic works nice when playing back HDV on the computer screens. If my HDTV is connected to the dvi/hdmi port as the 2nd monitor then de-interlacing is usually set to off. That setting gets tricky and also depends on the computers software player that your using. But the ATI video cards have nice de-interlacing hardware chips in their cards.

If you have 2 monitors connected to that card you would then be able to set the computer monitor to automatic & a TV set to no deinterlace. You need to have the 2 monitors connected to see this option. I think pulldown selection is mainly for playing back dvd's since they are originally recorded on film.

If you have an overdrive feature I had some trouble with that. Couldn't disable it after I enabled it and I did need to disable the overdrive after having problems.
