I'm running duel monitors....when I go to adjust the gamma on the primary....it's fine..I close catalyst....then when I pull vegas back up my gamma backs back to it's old setting...is there a gamma setting in Vegas I'm missing?

Once you've adjusted the sliders to display colors, etc. the way you want them you have to click in the Profiles box and enter a name for this particular color setup, and then click the Save button. To apply a particular profile, bring up its name and click the Apply button.
Desktop profiles only apply to the Windows Desktop, while Full Screen 3D profiles only come into effect when running 3D Games.

Also some versions of the Catalyst software are flaky. Try a newer version if the above doesn't work. CATALYST 4.2 display drivers or higher.
