So I connected my brand new Sony DSR-25 VTR to my XP system tonight, and everything is wonderful. In Vegas, I select the Microsoft DV Camera and VCR menu option (is that correct?), and I can then view the contents of my miniDV via the DSR-25. HOWEVER, the moment I actually attempt to CAPTURE the video I get an error:

I think I recall someone mentioning some problems with having an ATI 9700Pro video card and running Vegas and successfully capturing (requiring some disabling of ATI software). Please, if anyone has any idea what might be going on - I'd love to hear from you. Any of you Sony VTR owners, what are your settings and how did you make YOURS work? FOR THE LOVE OF DOG!!?!?!? :-) Thanks in advance.
