Atomos Ninja - how do its files work in Vegas

I am tempted to purchase a Ninja to record high definition video from my Canon XF300. Is anyone using the files from a Ninja in Vegas 13? How well does Vegas handle them?

I'm using Atomos Ninja 2.

In VP13, the ProRes file is handled by qt7plug.dll .

In VP14, this is handled by newer mxhevcplug.dll (but can be 'turned off' by rename mxhevcplug folder in C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 14.0\FileIO Plug-Ins )
