I just installed the RME digi96 PST on my win2k box. I'd love to try to help with whatever problem you're having. Can you outline for me what doesn't work? Is it just the 24bit problem? I got a crash in Vegas 3.0c immediately when I tried to arm a track for record before having my input clock source locked. As soon as it was locked, all was well. As for everything else, it works like a charm. I LOVE how simple and straightforward this card is.

Let me know if I can help.

Charles.

my problem is that sometimes ( a LOT of the time ) when you hit play in vegas, it freezes for up to 30 seconds. task manager shows it to be " vegas.exe " that all of a suddent munches the CPU. This happens at any sample rate or bit depth

cycle play and stop repeatedly and see if this happens

well... I may not be much help, then. I installed it on a backup system running a PIII 600 with an IWILL MB.

Charles, Didn't you learn from JoeD? You can't do serious audio work on an AMD system!!!

Ha!! Good thing we all take our tips from JoeD, the Daw expert.

I actually just had an audio DAW put together for me with AMD parts by a computer guru friend. It's been rock solid with the whole Sonic Foundry family. More so than my Dual PIII systems.

Shhhhhhh...don't say that too loud BQC. My DAWS an Athlon too, and I swear by them, but I got rediculed by the self identified DAW builder expert JoeD that AMD processors are only good for your gaming needs and should never be used for a DAW.
