Too much information :D

Updating Vegas Pro does not delete any media files. What exactly do you mean?

Albert-H wrote on 12/20/2017, 11:41 AM

It didn't delete any media files, but it has blocked my output audio from playing

Is it 5.1 audio?

Which build of Vegas Pro 15 do you currently use?

Albert-H wrote on 12/20/2017, 11:48 AM

yes it is 5.1

Then again: Which build of Vegas Pro 15 do you use?

Albert-H wrote on 12/20/2017, 11:57 AM

Vegas Pro 15.0 (Build 261)

Could you share a VP15 sample project where this issue appears?

Albert, has audio stopped functioning altogether i.e. no audio from any application, or is it just that there's no audio when you use VP15?

If it is just VP15, have you attended to the audio preferences e.g. set the required soundcard output in the Preferences/Settings Audio Tab menu?

all application

Are you sure it's the VP15 update which caused that issue? Maybe a Windows update did screw your audio driver. At least you should take a closer look onto your system audio setting. Maybe just something muted there.

As Marco says, are you sure it's the VP15 update which caused that issue? If this were the case I think Magix and this Forum would be inundated with complaints....
