Audio

Ok guys whats the best way to get my video and audio sync up again... I have been working on this project for a couple of weeks now tweaking it on and off, but today I have noticed that my audio is off my video by quite a bit. it was ok upto now.

When I looked at the tracks the audio track had moved to the right by about 2/3 frames, so I ungrouped them and lined the up to one of markers and both snapped to it and looked to be now lined up, but my sound is still slightly off. And it gets worse the further in the video.

I have excalibur but when I try to use this to sync my audio with the video I just get this error Object not found... I am not sure if excalibur can be used to sync one track ( video with audio ) so it might be me.

I have looked at my video's from GC but they only show you excalibur syncing with multicam shots.

Any ideas from you helpfull chaps please..

MJ.

First of all, you don't have to ungroup them to repair them. Just turn on Ignore Event Grouping, make the changes, and then turn OFF Ignore Event Grouping.

Secondly, the Align A/V wizard in Excalibur WILL perform this task for you. Select a single video clip and its associated audio clip and then run Excalibur to align that single pair. Then repeat for the next pair.

Yes I have just read some of your posts on the Cow on this same subject, must be my age it did not register to use A/V wizard in excalibur. I think I got a bit muddled up because I was rushing it to go out... bad mistake...

Thanks for you input on both places I have learn't a lot more just reading your posts...
