Audio and HD

if i import a 44,1000HZ audio clip into an HD timeline at 48,000, what will
be the result of playback?
So far, I'm not noticing anything, but I know i've encountered confllicts
within Final Cut Pro while doing this.

the vegas audio engine is much better than FCP's
vegas resamples your 44.1 to 48 as it is playing without any artifacts
and requires very little cpu overhead
there will not be any problems
