Audio and voice question

Ok I want to get to the point where I can blend audio tracks and voice together and also I would like to just delete the voice in parts of the clip and have it play in the rest of the clip.

Long story short I am having trouble. I'm a new at this and I have only been working on this about a week.

Thank you in advance.

Insert a volume envelope on the audio track with the voice. It will show up as a thin blue line running through the middle of the track. Double-click on this line to add points. Put two points before each voice section and two points after it. Drag the line down to the bottom of the track between the two sets of points to silence that section. You can add as many sets of points as you need.

Note that this will silence that audio track where the voice is. Any other sounds that happen during the voice will be removed too. If you're looking for a way to remove the voice and keep the other sounds going during that section, you're out of luck. There's no way to do that.

Chien is right about wanting to separate the voice and music to just leave the music - not gonna happen, but you can cut out completely the part with the voice, and maybe fade it into the music after the cut.
