AUDIO-Auto Gain Control?

BigDuff wrote on 12/30/2012, 10:49 AM
I set up a project with 3 orginal music videos. Disc format DVD 16:9 AC3-192.
When I preivew these the first one plays great however the audio on both the subsequent videos starts out fine but then has their volume reduced little by little during preview playback.

I haven't tried burning to disc yet so I dont know if this is only in the preview or will happen in th finished disc.

Is there an automatic audio gain control I can uncheck somewhere?

Thanks for you help.

What do you hear when you play one of these troubled clips in VLC Media Player or in the Windows Media Player?

You first need to determine if the problem is on the footage itself. If it's not, don't worry about it. Your output will be fine.

Steve,

Thank you fort aking the time to respond.

Yes, these clips played just fine in a couple of different media players. But for some reason the audio fades to 0 when played in DVDA 6. Even the wave forms on the timeline reduced linearly to 0 across the length of the clip.

No worries, these originaly rendered in Home Studio Plat 11, re-rendering with Pro 12 fixed the problem.

Thanks again!
