While we never recommend hardware, you might take a look at the
Dakota from Frontier Design. They have the ability to sync the audio
hardware to incomming SMPTE.

Look for the discussion of their SoDA technology.

Has anybody used the Dakota with Vegas and used this feature?

Salut Stéphane;

I have a Layla card for audio and word clock, but for syncing to and
from Vegas ( as well as all my other software ) I use the trusted
Voyetra V24s. It synchs beautifully and has SEMPTE (read and
generate), MIDI clock, 2 MIDI ins and 4 Midid outs. It will also
translate SMPTE to and from MTC.

In addition to the Frontier design Dakota Tango, I have had good luck with the Ego sys WAMI rack
The Dakota/Tango does have more audio inputs but the WAMI has a dedicated SMPTE I/O
Good Luck!
