No, no, no- I mean watching what I film before I edit it... When I render the final product, the click/pop is in there.

try to note the minutes/seconds where the clicks/pops are when you see the final product. Then, in Vegas, make the audiotracks in question large and see if the noise is there?

When I enlarge the audio clips, I can see the "noise" on the track. But, the noise can appear in different places in the specific clip AND it does NOT play when I simply "view media" from "Explorer"

I think I've heard of this before. Do a bug report with Sony, and make sure you are running the latest version of your software -- all updates installed.

Hmmm...

I've had this in Vegas. This was when my Audio Properties audio sampling rate weren't the same as my Audio Media. Is there a way to identify this within VMS? One thing you could try, and that is to use the "Match Media Settings" in the Project Properties Menu.
