Audio Crossings: Is this a V10 Bug??

I'm noticing that Vegas doesn't always fade audio crossings at clip ends/starts. Definitely this happens when audio is ungrouped from its associated video clip, but it also seems to be happening intermitently with clips in general, maybe when there is some specific kind of fade or drag move.

I never really noticed this until I started hearing clicks. Close zooming revealed that the clip ends didn't have the normal fade in/out envelope. Yes, I've got the quickfade option enabled. It just doesn't seem to work with 100% consistency. V10e.

Maybe you inadvertently destroy the fades when trim the clip.

Definitely trimming clips is involved. I can't figure out why it happens some times and not others, though. And once the clips lose their fades, I have to manually add them back, which is tedious.

I think if you crossfade one clip to another, when you separate them there is no fades any more. Could be you crossfaded by a frame?
