Audio Desync on large MP4s

Hi, I'm running Vegas Pro 15.0 build 387. I'm having a very large audio to video syncing issue. I dropped my footage into the timeline (footage is 22 mins) and the video seems to run increasingly behind the audio, until a 2-3 second gap is reached, which is when the desync ceases to increase (or at least, that's what it looks like to me. The desync might just keep increasing). The original mp4 does not have this problem, and the neither the audio nor the video appear larger on the timeline. I have Windows 10 Pro, version 1803. Footage was recorded with Bandicam. I intend to upload to Youtube.

Use mediaInfo to check if Bandicam recorded in variable frame rate. If so you could use another transcoder to re-encode an intermediate with constant frame rate. Unfortunately Handbrake doesn't like variable frame rate either (from my experience) you might have to find something else to transcode.

That's one possibility although personally I've used a lot of variable frame rate video from Twitch encodings & not had the sync issue. Also maybe video file is slightly corrupted due to your system being overloaded during the recording. Others may have better ideas at what's wrong.
