audio dropouts

Occasionally, I'm getting these audio dropouts on capture. See the link below. They are not in the raw footage, and if I recapture they don't show up in the same place. I'm not sure, but I think they only happen with DV footage, not DVCAM, so it may be an issue with unlocked audio. I know there are many variables, but I'm hoping someone here has seen this also. This particular video has about 50 of these, so this is a major issue.

Was the DV recorded in LP mode or SP mode - I've seen dropouts like this with DV tape recorded in LP mode and played back on different equipment than what recorded it (just yesterday in fact)?

What are you using to do the capture? Vegas Capture? Download a trial version of Scenalyzer and see if you encounter the same problems.
