i am experiencing audio dropouts while transfering via firewire. video is excellent. the avi file was rendered ntsc-dv, and looks great. audio playback is fine until i print to tape. i have tried two different mini-dv units and a firewire to analog card, all with the same issue. this is on a pentium4, with 10000rpm scsi drives using win2k.

anyone have this issue also?
