Go to your Windows Start Button (bottom left) choose
All Programs/Sony/Utilities/Register Sony Direct X Audio Plugins.

That shgould fix your problem.

I actually tried that, and they're still not showing up.

But I appreciate the response!

I'll ask the obvious then.
Have you tried unistalling and reinstalling.
When you uninstall, and before reinstalling, delete the Vegas 7 folder inside Program Files/Sony.
Then reinstall Vegas 7.
Other than that hopefully FormAdmin may offer some help.

I also have the same issue. Downloaded 7.0a, installed, and all plugins 'unregistered'. Additionaly, I try to set the VST path and they all show up with a check box. I then click ok, reopen the VST path box and it is blank again.

I have reinstalled 7.0a and rebooted twice.

All video efx and other functions appear to be ok. I also have V6.0d on the same system. All efx are fine with 6.0.

I also queried Sony support with this issue. Any other ideas about what to try? I hesitate removing V 6.0d until 7 works correctly, as I have projects to work on.

If I load a project from 6 that has VST pugs, it fails because they are unregistered. Reinstall and also using the 'register Directx efx' option does not fix it.

I would really like to get past this.

Have you tried the "Migrate" utility. I"m not at my studio PC right now but recall opening : Start> Programs> Sony> Utilites> Migrate
