Audio error

When I attempt to render a 9 minute video with the default uncompressed template I receive the following error....."Unable to mix audio,operation timed out". I have successfully rendered this same project with the NTSC DV template. What's up?

I have seen that message. in my case this was the problem:

I started rendering a project, and some of the media files were on another PC across the network. I then shut down that very PC, forgetting that my render needed those files. when the PC shut down, that's the message I got from Vegas.
"Unable to mix audio,operation timed out"

so it suddenly couldn't operate on a file that was used in the project. maybe that will give you a clue as to what's going on. I'd run a thorough hard drive check.
