audio error in Vegas 8.0

I render a project in Vegas 8.0 mpeg2 format and includes audio. There are no audio problems when I preview project in timeline or trimmer.
When I preview in architect 4.0, I press play, hear a few seconds of sound then nothing. I only hear sound for 4-5 seconds if I press the forward or reverse buttons, audio or close caption buttons. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and have the same issue. I tried using the render mpeg file on another computer in architect and have the same issue. Happens on both captured video and a slideshow project. It seems there is some error in the rendering process
Thanks
David

Render the audio & video as separate streams.
MPEG-2 (DVD Architect NTSC video stream) for video and AC-3 for audio.
Give both the same surname (i.e. myvideo.mpg & myvideo.ac3) and render to the same folder.
When you load the video file into DVDA, the audio will automatically follow.

I don't remember having those issues in DVDa4, but none the less you're working with a much older version of DVDa and should consider updating to DVDa5.

Of course if this was that B&H deal for Vegas8 and DVDa4 for $99.00 (or something like that) then you may end up having to pay some additional money for the update. You should check into it anyway.

It's not a matter of updating your version of DVD Architect, Just
simply follow the recommendation that "rs170a" has given you.
Or you can read more about it at this link :
