Audio Event Handles

Vegas 4 manual page 123 says "When you add an (audio) event to your project, Vega adds handles..........." And it shows a graphic of the handles at the top left and right corners of the event.

When I add an audio event to the timeline I do not get these handles? Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Position your mouse over those locations. Your cursor will change.

Yes, I know this. The cursors action was not my question.

Look at the manual page I referenced and it shows permanent blue triangula handles. These are what I enquire after.

Make your track taller? I know they disappear on my when the track is minimized. They're there when the the track is normal size, though.

The width of the event also matters. If you're zoomed out far enough so that the event becomes very narrow then they won't be visible either.
