audio fade offset for video?

I'd like to set the fade of split video events so that the fade in/out duration is always 1 second, as I can do with the audio. Is that possible with V6?

Options>Prefs>Editing>Quick Fade Length, set value to 1000

That works great for the audio, but the video splits without a fade.

I'm sorry, I read the question backwards. You'll need to use a script for this. There are a couple freebies on the VASST site that will do this, the drawback is that they need to be either selected events, or it will do this to all events.
