First of all, are the audio files in an audio format accepted by Vegas Pro, these being AIFF, AAC, MP2, MP3, M4A, OGG Vorbis, WAV, WMA, FLAC?

Second, were the audio files added to the folder while Vegas Pro was open in that project? If yes, click on the Refresh button (the return arrow) in the task bar above the explorer window and they should appear.

Yes, they are definitely files in the format recognized by Vegas Pro. I have two computers and the same folder shows the audios on the other computer.

Confirm it is showing 'All files' and not just a certain format like AAC or PCM.

Yes, "All Files" is checked, I've been using Vegas for years, never had any problems. I decided to update to Vegas Pro 20 and I'm full of problems.

It doesn't matter which file is inside the folder, Vegas only shows the Folder, it doesn't show music, videos or images.

I suspect the Tree part of the Explorer window is set too wide.... If you move the transition between the Explorer window and the Preview window across to the right, you will see the files in the folders. You can then move the boundary for the Tree part in the Explorer window to the left, and then widen the Preview window again.

This is indeed the problem. Your splitter between the tree (left side) and the list (right side) is pulled all the way to the right, as the dividing area between the explorer and the preview window is twice as thick as it is suppose to be.

I have the default configuration (ALT+D+D), no files were showing. I decided to change some things in windows, so I updated to Windows 11 and the files reappeared.

Thank you all for the feedback.

I have the exact same problem and I don't want to upgrade to windows 11 🙉 Anyone know a fix? Seems to be a bug. I try earlier version of Vegas and it works just fine. Same folder structure.

Please see my comment earlier...your splitter between the left side folder tree and the right side file list is pushed all the way to the right.

If all else fails...Alt+D+D to reset your interface.

Hallelujah your right! I read your preview posts and tried to expand the window, didn't realise I was just pushing the problem. Thanks!
