Audio follow video

Is there a way to fade the audio with the video in one motion? Right now I'm fading video then audio. Sure would be nice not to have the extra step.

If you mean crossfades from event to event, they should happen automatically if the button on the toolbar is active. Events need to be on the same track.

If you mean fade to black/silent, that is not automatic, but you could use a clip of black video w/silence to do it automatically like a crossfade.

Thanks for your reply, but no, not from event to event. I want to drag the edge of my video clip to create a fade and I want to have the audio follow. Even putting a black clip with silence would mean an extra step, as you would have to drag that to the event every time you wanted to fade.

martyh's idea is not really that much more work.....once you get it set up.
I find, that most audio(like music) needs to be faded much differently than it's associated video track anyway. I did however, try to see if this can be done, and it is indeed NO :-(
