You will find a lot of good advise already in this forum. Also, if you describe a particular shoot, people will be glad to offer advise on how to proceed. You might consider offering more input on where you stand as far as equipment, experience etc. goes.

Hi Musician, I highly recommend the DVD from our own DSE called "Now Hear This". I recently saw this presentation in Las Vegas and it was standing room only, even after going over the allotted time by about an hour. But this DVD actually covers even more than what the workshop did.

Their site is pretty slow today, but there is LOTS of great info on the VASST DVDs.

Defintely read what you can, and then find someone else to actually handle that part of the job.

It's always good to have more than one person in a crew, if they're competent.
