hey guys,
New here to the Sony Vegas Video forum. Started into V-Movie studio 11-HD recently and it seems pretty cool.
I'm not that savy with video editing. I was using Corel's something or another before and it started having issues where it wouldn't even play simple normal audio clips from the camera without sounding like Jabba the Hut and anway...
So I used an effect on the master out I guess-Audio restoration. I don't even know how to use it really, but it looked like something I could possibly use to help level out the overall sound of all the combined clips (any recommendations on what effect to use or add to the master would be appreciated). And it worked some. Stopped a lot of the red peaks/ clipping I think. I think I was looking for a "normalize" type effect that basically would lower the unreasonable highs that will be offensive to every youtubers or whoever you share your vids with and and also-raise the quiet spots... I know you can go into specific editing with envelopes and I did some also, but what's the best way to go with that?
I don't think it was the audio restoration effect I had in the effect chain, but when I rendered video-on one I got all these audio glitches like beep, beep, boops-spaced out about 3-5 seconds a pop-like R2D2 or something. Not sure what the issue was there, but I managed a file without the glitches and am uploading it to youtube right now. So what was that all about?
Thanks for any help. I am better at mixing music than making videos/ doing video editing, but I love them both and plan on making some cool music vids soon with this software.
