I just started using Vegas 5, and I wanted to edit part of a soccer goals DVD I had ripped on to my PC, by cutting out individual goals.

Anyway, I imported the video clip, and the audio was completely out of synch with the video. Then I messed around with some settings, and I thought I had sorted the problem, I got the video and audio to synch. But when I checked near the end of the clip, it was out of synch again. So at the start of the clip, everythings fine, in the middle, everythings fine, but at the end, its out of synch.

I've tried changing the audio settings, video settings and the ruler when importing the video, but I cant seem to solve the problem. And I dont understand how it can be in synch for most of the clip, then go out near the end.

When I play the unedited clip in windows media player, everythings fine, so its not a problem when ripping the DVD.

Can anyone help?
