I have captured some VHS stuff using a MIRO DC30 Plus (and
MIRO Video Capture) and brought it into Vegas. No problem
with any of that.

But when the audio is played back in Vegas Video, it is
choppy, clipping, with clicks and distorted (22.050 / 16bit /
stereo).

What is weird is that if I import this audio into Sound
Forge, it is perfect.

I have checked the Properties of the Project match the
specs of the imported files and everything seems OK.

Any clues?

(Even when I render back out with the MIRO codec, it still
remaisn choppy and 'orrible)
