audio issues, .trs files

I am having issues loading audio from a .trs file recorded from an HD channel. If i record from a non-HD channel the audio is fine.

I am also having issues where my audio does NOT line up properly in the rendered file version (.avi), but in playback directly from the preview window the audio does line up. (line up meaning what you see is what you hear, if i read lips the audio is playing in sync)

Im using 9a Platnum, anyone know whats going on?

If the HD channels use a different audio codec than the SD channels, then that's the problem, the codec is not supported by Vegas. Or if the HD channel codec is 5.1, then this might create problems too.

As for the audio sync problem, trs is just mpeg2 if I am not mistaken, similar to VOB files -- a problem that Vegas always had (audio sync issues with some kinds of mpeg2).

I think you are up for some bug reports at Sony, and if they can't fix it in time, you might need to find another software solution.
