Audio issues w/Vegas Pro 16, Windows 10 & Blackmagic Shuttle 3.0 usb

Recently installed a Blackmagic Design Shuttle 3.0 USB for use with Vegas Pro 16.0 and Windows 7 Pro. Everything worked fine. Needed to upgrade to Windows 10 so that we could move to live-streaming. Completed Windows 10 upgrade, updated Blackmagic Shuttle drivers to those for Windows 10. Have tried drivers 10.4.3, 10.4.11 and 10.5.2. Audio is noisy with pulsing hum in the background. More importantly the audio is recording at a faster speed than the video. On a 15 second test video, with audio for the entire 15 seconds, the audio completed recording in approximately 9 seconds while the video was 15 seconds in length.

I am not familiar with that particular interface, but in general, a sample rate mismatch will affect playback speed/pitch and other abnormalities.. .for instance 44.1k playing back at 48k Some interfaces lock the sample rate or another app seizes the interface and locks it. The 'word clock' in another factor that can fork up audio. Many pro audio interfaces have inputs for an external clock, so you may need to set it to the 'internal',
