Audio longer than Video

I've loaded some HDV clips onto the timeline and the audio seems much longer than the video. I know Vegas deals in subframes and that could cause a minor offset but this looks to be several minutes.

Help anyone?

Happens a lot. Make sure you have Snapping and Quantize to frames turned on and that you are using the correct timebase, like NTSC Drop Frame 29.97 (if that is what you use). Then zoom in to the end of each clip/event and drag that audio back to snap to the end of the last video frame. If you don't, it will render with small cross dissolves. Usually clips are trimmed and the exact end is never used.
