Were these clips captured using VV Catpure? What version of VV are you running? I used to have a similar problem capturing video from my Canon XL1s using VV3.0b or earlier. Since version 3.0c, I have not had this problem.

To detail the problem I had in the past, some clips I captured via VV Capture would have the audio portion slighly longer than the video. Not all clips came in this way, but many. Also, the audio at the very end of the clip would slow down causing the pitch to drop for just a second before it ended. A symptom of this would be trying to drag the endpoint of the video segment of the clip and shortening it, but the audio would not move with it.

But like I said, 3.0c seems to have fixed this problem for me.

You just described my problem a million times better then I could. Thanks very much--I'm using 3.0a, but I'll download 3.0c ASAP.
